YackPack introduces threaded audio

YackPack now allows you to have timeshifted conversations, thanks to our new threaded audio feature. I must admit I've been waiting and waiting for this to ship. It's my favorite new thing.

When you click the play button, all the audio messages play in sequence inside a pack. You can jump forward or backward.

You'll see that YackPack is not just about audio messaging; it's about timeshifted conversations. I believe this is a new genre on the web, with nothing else quite like it.

Like I said in a previous post, if you go to the YackPack homepage, you can experience this for yourself. Just click the "play" button.

New YackPack -- Audio Blogging for Groups

Our latest version of YackPack is so new we don't know how to describe it . . . .

Interactive podcasting?
Audio blogging for groups?

For now, we're calling this innovation an "Audio Forum," which we think is a boring name.

To see our latest stuff, go to our homepage, wait a few seconds for the page to load, and click on the "play" button. You'll hear my team using our own service to describe what we've created.

So what do YOU think we should call this?
